Background
A lawyer, Johor executive councillor and three-term Tenggaroh assemblyman, now BN's MIC candidate for Kemelah; a former MIC Youth chief and son of the late Tenggaroh assemblyman Krishnasamy Shiman.
- Tenggaroh assemblyman since 2013, winning three terms (2013, 2018 and 2022).[1]
- A Johor executive councillor since March 2022, holding the tourism, environment, culture and heritage portfolio, then unity, culture and heritage from 2024.[1]
- A lawyer; a legal manager at Cubit Pte Ltd from 2008 to 2013.[2]
- Studied at Sheffield University, UK (2003-2006), after Taylor's College, Subang Jaya.[2]
- A former MIC Youth chief (2021-2024); also Johor MIC state secretary, MIC Labis division chairman and a former national MIC Putera leader (2013-2015).[1][2]
- Moved from the Tenggaroh seat to contest Kemelah for BN in 2026.[3]
- Son of the late Krishnasamy Shiman, the Tenggaroh assemblyman from 1990 who was assassinated in an MIC building in 2008.[1]
