Background
BN's Tenang candidate and the assemblyman who won the 2011 Tenang by-election; a Portsmouth political-science graduate and former Johor land administrator, now an independent director of Boustead Plantations. Son of former Tenang assemblyman Ibrahim Daud.
- Holds a Bachelor of Political Science (Hons) from the University of Portsmouth, UK (1996) and a Diploma in Public Administration from ITM.[1]
- A career land administrator: assistant land administrator in Kluang (1997-2000) and Segamat (2000-2006), then Rengit assistant district officer (2006-2011), followed by various Johor state government posts (2012-2018).[1]
- Won the 2011 Tenang by-election for BN with 69% of the vote (majority 3,707), defeating PAS's Normala Sudirman.[2]
- Now an independent non-executive director of Boustead Plantations Berhad (since 2022).[1]
- Son of Ibrahim Daud, a former Tenang assemblyman; he faces Normala Sudirman again in 2026, a rematch of their 2011 contest.[3][2]

- Born 6 June 1973; lives in Felcra Sekijang, Segamat. Married to Maarof Abd Mutalib, with three children.[1]
- A former teacher known as 'Cikgu Mala'; holds a Malaysian Teaching Diploma (Maktab Tuanku Bainun, Penang) and a Diploma in Leadership and Islamic Worldview (ILHAM).[1]
- A PAS Muslimat leader: deputy chair of the women's-wing national education committee, a member of PAS Malaysia's and Johor's education and Muslimat committees, and Muslimat PAS chief for the Sekijang area.[1]
- A party and NGO activist; volunteered with Muslim Care Malaysia, including a Rohingya refugee humanitarian mission to Cox's Bazar, Bangladesh; chairs the education bureau of WADIRA (Wanita Dinamis FELCRA).[1]
- Contested the 2011 Tenang by-election and Kemelah in 2022; now PAS's candidate for Tenang under PN in 2026, a rematch against Mohd Azahar Ibrahim.[2][3]
